"Being Real With Yourself"

We've got to first admit the truth. You are who you are and not everybody is gonna like it. So you've got to make waves for yourself. When I say make waves, I mean make connections, make opportunities, demand respect, and the list goes on. As crazy as I act I can never escape my roots. I know I am as David said in Psalms 139:14 "fearfully and wonderfully made". Why don't we understand that? We are all beautiful. We must understand and know this. We can't educate and open up the eyes of the world until we ourselves see it. The truth of the matter is that we have allowed ourselves to be brainwashed. We as beautiful plus-size women have got to reverse this negative thinking. We have got to start seeing ourselves as beauty queens, as " America 's Next Top Model". After seeing Toccara in the third season saunter in there and take her place among the size 2's, 3's, 4's and 5's, I knew there was hope. We need to represent more like that.
